U.S. Air Force veteran Gavin and Evie are well into their second month of training. The training process for each dog usually takes anywhere from 6 months to a year. Evie will help Gavin deal with his seizures, depression, anxiety, bouts of night terrors & insomnia. We are super excited to be working towards certification with this team!

Hawkins had a bad skin condition when he first arrived from NYC ACC. Liz and crew treated the skin condition and he is in great shape now. Hawkins will be a companion for Army veteran Barry who served in Iraq and has PTSD.

The Tortorella Family Foundation is honored to sponsor the training and care of Hawkins, an emotional support dog, through the organization Rescue Dogs Rescue Soldiers. The funding will go to help with the purchase of grain free food and treats, training and veterinary care. Hawkins' training has begun and will continue for the next six months. The Tortorella Family has named this sponsorship in memory of Holden Corzine, a brave soldier who is dearly missed by all who loved him.
