The RDRS Pet Therapy program

We Need Your Support

We have been working at Rikers Island for 4 years now and we currently have multiple dogs in training with select juvenile units in the Rikers Rovers program. These juveniles help our rescue dogs get basic training and socialization, and the boys learn how to care for and show love to an animal in need.

Part of our community outreach is bringing our amazing dogs into schools, nursing homes, and juvenile detention centers. We have the ability to help children through the power of our dogs. Help us so we can continue to help dogs, juveniles, and veterans.
